Question for Jehovah's Witnesses...

I know JW's don't believe in Hell. Ok, so what is the point in trying so hard to live a good life while on this earth, if everyone is going to either go to heaven, or live on Paradise Earth or just cease to exist? I mean ultimately there is no punishment for any sin you commit anyways. EVen if you cease to exist, you don't know you don't exist so it isn't like that is a punishment.

The religion is pointless. They've already reached their quota for followers. Everyone else is not going to be in that number. Such a phony, fake, false, bullshit religion.

Why do people need the threat of punishment to live a "good" life? That's a better quesiton, IMO.

Instead of hell they believe that the wicked will cease to exist, they'll just be dead while the meek inherit the Earth. So there will be this paradise and the unworthy will be gone, just dead. It's not about the punishment, they just enjoy doing what they do. They like their relationship with God, they do their service (going door to door etc) with a smile instead of thinking of it as a chore, they're just all around happy. I can totally respect that. It's all about the love and good feelings they have inside, they have peace.
