At what age do you leave your kids out of your sight in the house with you?
I should have clarified, this question doesn't include leaving kids in playpen a or cribs or play seats or strollers etc :)

My five year old son and two year old daughter play in their playroom out of sight when I am nursing the baby or cooking dinner. It is babyproofed and every toy in there is geared towards my daughter's age. I am in the next room and can hear everything that goes on. And they are never alone more than five minutes before I check on them.

My 3 month old is sleeping in her crib in the other room.  She's not in my sight but I can hear her if she wakes up.

Well from birth I suppose. My newborns have been left in their cribs while I am out and about in my house.

Pretty much from birth, if they are safe.
Sorry, but I'm not going to bring my baby into the bathroom with me, or request that they are in my sight at all times.
Not logical or feasible.
