Not really. Certain things I'm controlling about like cleaning, but for the most part I'm willing to compromise.

It has certainly thrown some monkey wrenches into our relationship but we work through them.  We both tend to be control freaks about different things.

Yes I am and yes it has. No shame, I'm a work in progress.

With some things. I like cleaning to be done a certain way. Instead of dh doing it my way, he refuses to help. Overall though i dont like making decisions regarding my dh. If its for me or my kids i make it without second thought. But for my dh, we always end up fighting about it. I tell him "if it were me i would do..." or "idk how you feel about xyz". He doesnt communicate well with me.

Yes.  My Dh has learned to live with it, for the most part.  He does rebel against me every now & then (LOL).

I control almost everything (money, buying decisions, home) and he has learned that it's easier just to let me do it.  When we butt heads, it's ugly, but we get through it.
