Is it to late to file abandonment on a mother who has seen her child in 4 years. She has started calling but not to talk to her child. I don't want her to see him at all.

Idk what's your relationship w/the child? Who has custody? Why hasn't she seen her child in four years? Why don't you want her around the child?

I needed more info

I'm the step mom. Have been for four years. She hasn't seen him because she said she needed to grow up which was to party and drink. I don't want her around because I fear for the safety of my child.

I'm assuming your DH has custody? He could take her to court and try. There's no excuse not to see your kids in four years.

No harm in asking for legal help and see what your options are. Have you guys tried getting her to give up her rights.
