I went to the car to grab dhs debit card. After I was done with it, I gave it directly to him. He set it on the table. We went to a store and realized the debit card was at home.
Who left the debit card at home?

He says I left it at home because I should've put it back in the car

I say he left it because I put it back in his care after ordering his t-shirts.

His fault.

The car is not where a debit card belongs. That is just asking for trouble.

Really dumb to leave a debit card in the car. You gave it to him, therefore he left it home.

Sorry I should reword it to say "my" bigger issue would be.....

Quoting haydsmom2007:

that is not the bigger issue and how they handle their money is not what this post it about.

Quoting LAXmom21:

1. His fault

2. I leave mine in the car too.

3. The bigger issue is him not thinking you're entitled to the money!!

Are you a SAHM?

Quoting Anonymous:

Ugh, answering this question always starts shit but he doesn't feel that I'm entitled touch the money he works for

Quoting KairisMama:

Why don't you each have a debit card linked to your account? That would have saved this whole mess from starting. ;)

and what kind of husband doens't think his wife is "entitled" to marital assets. he sounds like a controlling asshole. you better fix that shit before it's too late. based on that - it's no surprise he's trying to blame you for his mistake. he probably does it all the time.

Without ME there would be no awesome!

Ya. I don't think I'd be married to someone like that. In our home we share everything.

This, exactly.

Quoting BaconQueen:

HIS debit card HIS responsibility. Doesn't matter who touched it last he should always keep track of it.
