in the front row right under the pastor....then at the preschool fundraiser afterwards.....i'm all for nursing in public, but aren't there a handful of situations where it's better to cover up?

Not really. As  long as baby is able to eat, everything else is pretty irrelevant.

Don't have a problem with it. Jesus was breastfed and if God designed what people look like, I'm pretty sure he knows we have boobs and they make baby food.

I always nursed at Mass. Best way to keep the baby quiet. It's not like I was putting on a show, hardly anyone noticed and those who did said nice things to me about it.

Or at least sit in a back row? I don't thin kthey should, but I would. I never liked people to be in the middle of my nurse sessions. But I never used a cover up, either.

I nurse in church. My pastor has never said anything negative.  IF a woman can bottle feed...I am nursing.

No. Anywhere it is appropriate for a baby to be bottle fed it is appropriate to nurse.

I stopped going to church period because I was covered and nursing during mass and the preachers dd who was 18 looked all around staring and when she realized I WAS nursing asked me to come w her and put me in a closet dead of winter closet had no heat or light and told me to finish up there. I never ever went back. I know Jesus himself was nursed and what the girl did was beyond wrong. When we stopped showing the mom called me profusely apologizing and told me her dd was dead wrong and had been talked to but I just never felt comfortable. So we never went back. Now we just don't go to church.

Any where a child can be, it's appropriate to nurse.
