I really don't like babies. I love my children. I have a 2 1/2 year old, and a two month old, and as much as I love my tiny daughter, I'm really counting down the days until she is mobile and can play and more actively interact. Babies are awful. In my opinion they suck. Again, I love my baby, but I truly ENJOY my older son, which wasn't the case when he was very small. I can't wait to be able to enjoy doing stuff with my daughter as well.

I am NOT Karl. But I might still eat your hands.

I know a lot of men like this.  (Not saying you are manly!)  As long as you tend to your child and bond with the baby, I think it makes sense you are excited for the more interactive ages.

Nope- you're not alone mom. Although I like the early stages I prefer the older years.

See I don't like them when they are between 1 and 3...when they run from you and you have to chase them...hey it's bath time come here..you need your diaper changed come here and they look at you and run the opposite direction!  Hate it!

I like the immobility a lot. And the naps lol. Besides that, I see where you're coming from.

Yeah, I liked the baby stage.

No one talked back, and they couldn't walk away from me when I was speaking.

Unlike some ungrateful tween I know ...

I'm not a baby person either. It might be because both of the kids screamed from the time they were born until they were 4 months. It was hell.
