absolutely, but it  did not happen overnight.  The me generation started a while back.

Heck yeah! I am 48 and if I had ever told my dad to "fuck off". I would still be in extreme pain!

No, but I'm 24 so the "past" isn't that far back.

I think more children/teens are more into social media sites and they're likely unmonitored, so it gives off the impression that they're worse than a few years back, but it's just more heard of now thanks to FB, Twitter, etc.

MySpace was big, but it was nothing like what we have today.

Some. 

Most kids are great.  Some are a product of nonparenting and OMG.  Probably always been that way, only I can't see my Papa letting some kid totally stomp on him and him not say anything about it.
