DID YOU TRAIN YOUR DH? edit

I don't understand when people say they trained & molded their husband.

Why do people do this?  To me it sounds like you don't love the man you married.

I'm not trying to judge, just really curious.  I love the man I married, if I had to train him & mold him I don't think I would have married him.  I couldn't imagine changing him!

EDIT: To clarify I am not talking about asking for help around the house or helping them to learn to do something they want to learn.

I am talking about actually training your husband to be someone they aren't.  I hear many women bitch about who their husband is & how they are going to change/train them.

Talking about when I hear a woman say "I like that I trained my husband to not have any balls."

Things like that, read many things like that on CM & tend to hear it in real life too.

Nope my husband is who he is and there is no way I am changing that.  I am not the boss in my family and never will be.

I didn't train him, his momma did a right fine job of raising him to be the man I wanted.  not the man I wanted to change into what I wanted.

Not everyone, not many.  Typically when they say it they are not joking.

I see it in here, definitely not joking & I hear it in real life & can say they are definitely not joking.

I agree. Besides, "you" (general term) are very, very stupid if you think you can change a grown man.

LOL this is pretty much what I think when people say "I trained him to do this & that & be like this etc".
