When my 2 year old wants a piece of food she will grab it if she is hungry and its within reach..now if you breastfeed your kid into toddlerhood, will they just pull down your shirt and start breastfeeding? I seriously am wondering..I feel like my dd would do that if I was still breastfeeding her.

You instill boundaries and enforce nursing manners.

No. You teach them not to just grab when they're still babies.

When your kid can say, " Mommy, I want your titty in my mouth." Its time to stop breastfeeding in my opinion. Lol

Most kids only nurse at night and in the morning at that point. They usually ask though. Depending how mature they are .

Sometimes. I don't let him do it, but he will sometimes try. I tell him he has to ask nicely and say "please". I also do that with any other thing he tries to grab without permission.

It's about teaching manners, whether it be with my breasts or my glass of water. :)

My son nursed until 25 months. The last few months he would say "can I peas(please) have milk" or "I want milk peas".

nursing was reserved at that age for certain times of the day...like naptime or cuddle time...mealtimes meant sitting at the table and having a plate with food on it, and utensils to eat it with

What about when you are just teaching them "nursing manners"? I feel like a kid would just whip my boob out for a snack when they get hungry.
