how much would they have to pay you to be a working mom?

Lots of working moms and stay at home moms complain about how expensive daycare is for babies and use that as their reasoning for why they do or do not go back to work immediately. So question: how much would a job have to pay you per day ABOVE AND BEYOND all daycare expenses, hiring a cleaning lady if you do that, going out to eat b/c you're tired, work clothes and any other working mom expense in order for you to choose to put your newborn baby in daycare full time.

Put $25 a day if you would want to make at least that much per day ABOVE AND BEYOND to making working worthwhile

Put $0 a day if you would choose working as long as you broke even expense wise

Put negative $25 a day if you would be willing to pay all your salary PLUS $25 a day in order to be a working mom

and so on, you get the idea. After i get a few posters, i'll put my dollar amount.

It took a sweet-ass position at a halloween store and $10.50 an hour + benefits to get me out of the house for the first time in YEARS and it's seasonal so I can definitely hang in there.

Miss my girl, though!

I am a working mom, but my kids are in school. I work 6-2:30, so we don't need daycare. if we did...we'd be screwed lol

Well, I did it for $25,000. I love my child more than anything and my career too.
