Does your DH let you?

Spend time with friends? Do you have a curfew?

I hit send too soon. I am allowed out one evening a week for an hour and a half.

He will take the keys, and if I need to go somewhere I will have to take him with me.

WTF ???

Quoting Anonymous:

If I'm late I lose the privilege of using the car indefinitely.

1 mom liked this
do you take him into consideration when you sleep with other men?

Quoting 504bbymami:

I'm a grown ass women. My husband doesn't LET me do anything. He's not my father.

If he has a problem with something, he can express those feelings to me and I will take that into consideration when making my choice of what I want to do.

My husband doesn't tell me when I can go out and for how long. I respect and love him so I ask for his opinions and wouldn't stay out super late if it bothered him and I was doing it a lot, but he doesn't "allow" me to do anything, I don't need him to let me, I don't have a curfew, I'm his wife, not his child.

Yeah...no.

I was with this post until this comment. It's painfully obvious now.
Next time keep the replies subtle, don't go all out.

I have no family, no help, and I'm not allowed to work.

Quoting Devious333:

It is a choice.

Quoting Anonymous:

It's not a choice.

Quoting Devious333:

Lol I could never live that way. Especially when one of the vehicles is mine that I bought in full myself. I would tell dh to go fuck himself if he tried to boss me around.

I think we can all agree that your husband is a bit more passive than most.

Um I do what I want, but I do let him know I have plans and that he is going to be home or if I need a sitter. No curfew

No one LETS me do anything. I'm a grown ass woman, I don't need permission. And if I want to stay out until the following morning, I will. I never do, I cant hang like I used too haha. We're equals and both get alone time whenever we need it.

What???  My dh doesn't restrict me with anything. He knows all of my friends and he is good friends with their husbands. The only thing he ASKS is that I tell him when I expect to be home and to call if I am going to be later, but that is so he doesn't worry.... I ask the same of him.
