doberman's new ears edit

Posted by   + Show Post

Yes even after all y'alls crazy comments I still got his ears cropped. The whole process was easy and took about 30 minutes. Stitches stayed in exactly one week and this picture was taken after being posted for two days. He is so so so handsome now and he looks like a beautiful doberman.

EDIT: It is a military/pet style. This is our first time having to deal with posting and we wanted to reduce our risks of a crop and flop. So yes it is shorter than a show cut that most are accoustomed to but we did think responsibly and didnt want it to go thru the surgery and healing with a long crop and us mess up and the ears just flop anyways.

some people don't understand much about animals and cropping and if done right it doesn't hurt the dog at all! he is beautiful & i love his ears like that! i left both my boxer & dobie's ears natural but only because they don't look so mean with floppy ears & my husband likes the look better!! don't let peoples negative comments about what YOU do with YOUR dog get to you :)

I hate it when people cosmetically alter their pets too, or when they cosmetically alter their children.
