Prove me wrong

If you have an 8yr old child who fits in just a seat belt, post a picture. Block their faces if you want and go anon. As a CPST I never see children with a proper belt fit that young and yet, they seem to all exist here. I want to see these huge children.

So, take my kid outside in this storm, strap her in the car, snap a photo, blur out her face and post it just to prove to some anon on the Internet that she fits? No thanks.

I don't have a pic, but DS is 7 years old 70lbs and 4ft 2.5 inches tall. By law he isn't required to be in a booster seat. His seatbelt fits correctly or else he would be in a booster seat. If I had a pic, I'd post it.

So, if a grown woman who is 4 ft 11 inches 100lbs is in a car should she be in a booster too?

I don't have a pic and he's not 8 but I have an almost 5 yr old that is 4 1/2 ft tall and 50 lbs.  He'll probably be out of his booster seat soon.

No because an adult body is much different than that of a child.

My thoughts exactly.

How many people would have that kinda pic readily available. I don't strap my kids in and think "dang I should get a pic so when some randomness person ask I'll have a picture ready".

To the OP, my 9 year old is 4'11 and 90 pounds she doesn't fit in a booster at all.
