NEAT!

Greek Mythology is something I studied quite a bit in my academic days.

Wait, like Greek mythology? As a religion?

That's cool.  I was always interested in mythology.  I heard that with the decline in the belief of the Greek Gods, they lost favor and power.

When I was about 14, I developed an interest in learning about the Greeks. Over the course of a year, I learned everything I could. Myths, legends, and the history. After that year, it made more sense to me than Christianity did. I spoke about it at great length with my mother, who encouraged me to go my own way, and I decided that the Greeks were my way of life. I've been a Greek Hellenistic since I was 15, so about 7 years. And my favorite God is Hades, and my favorite goddess is Athena (she is the main one I worship).

I am very open to, and love learning about different religions, so please don't take this in a rude way, because I can't think of a better way to ask it; does this mean you really believe all the Gods and Goddesses existed/ exist and all the events of Greek mythology actually happened?

There are many more than 12. You are thinking of the 12 Olympians. And I worship them by an offering of fruit and meat every morning on my table.
