Wtf? I cant work 8 hours both places dummies!! They both know i have another job and cater to each other nicely for me. We have 2 kids, and my dh works full time as well...we cant afford daycare and do no qualify for assistance with it.

But both of them say its "mandatory" to be there. So... will get fired? Seriously? You need 70 employees that day? What happens if i die before then? will your company go under? my god no. lol

I dont want to lose one, but what the crap are we supposed to do? my dh and i work opposite shifts and this just will not work! What would you do?

Yikes..I'd work the job that paid more and deal with the repercussions of not showing up to my other job.

you got two months to find a replacement job for the one you'll likely lose

that's a pretty good headstart

Is there any possible way your husband can use a vacation day and then try to work opposite shifts, morning one, afternoon for the other?

Work the one you like most. If you get fired file a grievance, and get unemployment from the other.
