I do not feed my kids at all on Wednesdays ** EDIT

Posted by   + Show Post

Nope, not one meal. They eat free breakfast and lunch at school and then they all go to youth group on Wednesday nights and are fed dinner and a snack. Ahhhhh love my Wednesdays lol

So I just looked up the guidelines for free meals in my area and for a family of 7 we can make up to $45,409 and still be eligible and $64,621. In this area those amounts are what is considered wealthy. Now I know why 98% of our schools are on free/reduced meals. I have heard that next yr when they introduce Ipads instead of text books they are also making it free meals school wide, so everyone, no matter the income will be eligible.

Quoting 2and2onway:

My kids go to church T,W and Sunday. The older ones do special projects on Saturdays with the youth also.

Quoting thefiregoddess:

Yep would never let the church feed my kiddo.
But mostly because I would never step foot in a church.

Win for you

If you're dumping your kids onto the school and church's laps 3 or more times a week for free food and free babysitting, why did you bother having kids?

I honestly don't understand how you can come on here and actually brag & laugh about how you do next to nothing for your kids and expect others to think that's okay.

Quoting Anonymous:

Income guide lines.... Here in Idaho we make 3000 a month and get reduced lunches.

School, they get a hot breakfast every morning or cereal if they choose.

Quoting KatLee42513:Free breakfast from where?

Why is it free?

Oh come on, she wasn't bragging she was reveling! Why shouldn't she enjoy the break from the responsibility as long as the children are eating elsewhere?

Quoting susannah2000:

Ok glad you re happy that you don't even have to be the most minimal parent and feed your OWN children, to the point of bragging about it.

And the bashing here is the whole reason why i don't post about my personal life. it's best not to even mention it. cause they'll bash you forever. that's why no one here knows about my life. cause it's secret ;)
