 This took place in Kings county hospital NY, her name was Esmin Green.  She died in the waiting room. watch the video for the rest. its really disturbing.

Wow. How awful!! I'm glad they're terminating some of the staff involved.

Poor woman. When I was 19 I had a pulmonary embolism. The ER staff didn't take me seriously until I passed out. I remember feeling faint & my step dad kept telling them I need attention NOW & they told him I'd have to wait.

After I passed out they took my vitals and realized what was going on when my oxygen levels were in the 60s.

 When I go over and close an open car door (that someone has left open), When I flag down then car next to me and tell the person that their trunk is open, every small kind act that I do is for things like this.

I will show this to my DH and simply say "this is why I do things"

 omg that is scary, they should really be more on top of pateients and LISTEN to them better. i mean thats scary.  thank god you did pass out that got them moving.
