Someone has to pick up the trash.

Not everyone can be a doctor, surgeon, lawyer or concert violinist.
Someone has to serve the fries a McDonalds and pick up the trash. Someone has to stock the shelves and deliver the mail. Our society would collapse if these people didn't exist.
No mom wants to say well my child is a career cashier but some people are.
I wouldn't want my son to be a janitor or do some low job but if he's making an honest living for himself that supports all his needs and wants and he's happy why should I complain.
We all want the best for our child we want them to go to college and succeed with six figure paychecks but it just doesn't always happen.
If they are happy we should be happy.

Yes. However most fall into those jobs because they either didn't want to pursue higher education or thought they couldn't because of financial or other limiting reasons. Or are in the process of pursuing an education.

I don't necessarily want my child to pursue a 5 or 6 figure income. I want them to be self supporting but happy with their profession no matter what it is. I want them to get training in a specific type of profession, although hopefully one with a lot of potential. If they make good money, its a win. However if they can pay their bills and still have some fun and joy in their lives, that's a win too.

How so? I wasn't aware you could predict the future. Anything is possible. There are people with good degrees that work those jobs. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
