ds makes me look poor

Ds is almost 8... I've let him dress himself since he was able to. This entire school year, he's basically recycling the same exact 4 pairs of outfits.

He has so much clothes they don't fit in the dressers! Yet his teachers prob think he doesn't have any. Ugh. From now on, I'm hiding all his clothes he wears. I'm gonna make him wear something different!

Lol I think that may be a boy thing. My nephews are like that . They don't care about that stuff all that matters to them is that they're dressed and on a good day they match! Lol

My girls do that too.  They have a few newer shirts that they would wear to bed and then again the next morning to school if I let them.  I'm not worried about what the teachers think, but more so that they don't wear the other clothes that cost me money because 'they don't like them' anymore. UM WHAT!?

DS would do the same with his super hero shirts, but he has to wear a school uniform.

As long as his clothes are still in good shape I wouldn't mind.

In six years of teaching I observed tons students who I know had money wear the same sweatpants, basketball shorts, sweatshirts, etc. several times a week. Kids have their favorites. I never thought anything about the parents' financial status...I  figured they just didn't want to argue with the kids over their clothing choices.
