my daughter came home with a classmate's obamaphone
well, I assume it's actually the kid's mother's obamaphone. dd is in 2nd grade and came home with a phone that she'd said "Shaquaria" had given her. I turned it on so I could possibly find a spouse's name or something to return it to the parent that afternoon.
there were no numbers programmed but there was one number dialed... the 1-800 number to check your FS balance.
there were 2 txts:
received: are you selling this month?
sent: 2 for 1 like always. i will have 300 4 u tmrw. 150 cash
the phone also said there were 249 available minutes remaining.
I find it hard to believe that this scenario is the minority when it comes to FS
What confuses me is that if they can afford to sell $300 of their benefits, why are they qualified for so much??
eta: you guys are getting way caught up on the obamaphone thing... I don't really care what you choose to call it. I did not coin the phrase. also, I "went through it" trying to find someone I could call and meet up wit to return the phone since it was on friday. I figured they might need it over the weekend. and no, I am not trolling.
