SD( Step Daughter) was with her Cousin and aunt for a few days.when SD got back she Started to have a fit about having Chicken, we haven't had Chicken in a long time. DH told her either eat what we are having or don't eat it. She started to have more of an attitude. SD thinks we have a lot of money to get pizza, Taco Bell and Burger King. we don't have that Knnd of money like her aunt has.

There is nothing wrong with chicken.  It's better then the fast food they were feeding her.  You should tell her that!

If kids only knew the real meaning of being poor. She needs to get a lesson in poverty in the world. I would go online and show her people that are truly poor and let her know how privlaged she is to have food every day. Even if its food she doesn't like its still food.

Hum, I usually associate eating a lot of fast food with being poor.

Since when does buying shit off the $1 menu or buying cheap pizza count as having money? That's broke-ass in my world.

This is sort of funny to me because my step daughter picks at the stuff I serve because we can afford healthier options, while at her mom's house, fast food is the norm. So I have the same problem, only we don't eat fast food, not for financial reasons, but because my dog's food is healthier than that crap lol.
