Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

When I turned 25 I started getting chin hairs. DO you have chin hairs?

It's horrible! I mean I'm sure most people cant tell but I always keep tweezers in my purse in case I feel one sprouting. I've tried laser hair removal, everything under the sun to no avail. I've had my hormones checked and nothing- turns out I'm just lucky like that :/

Anyone else?

I used to have a lot, I got laser hair removal, though.

If you only get a few at a time, have you considered electrolysis?

I keep tweezers in the car because it seems like that light shows everything. I always seem to find that errant long black hair, that everyone had to notice but me, while looking in the car mirror. Getting old sucks!

Yep, being anonymous too :D  I always blame it on the German in me, and just check in outside, natural light a couple times a week with a mirror and tweezers.  It really upset me at first.  But seriously, as long as you do what you're doing, keeping those random little brats in-check and tweezed, I swear no one will notice!  PS I have one dear grandma who almost has a full mustache (and has for most of her life), and the other who balded in the front very young, so I have to count myself lucky that this is all I've inherited! :)

Did you get the laser treatments at a salon type place or through an actual plastic surgeon? There is a huge difference in the lasers they use and even having it done by a plastic surgeon can take a few times; I had to have four treatments.
