damn, not an UTI too!

As I said in another post, my daughter already takes plenty of medications. She just had one added for suspected gerd. she sees the dr on the 9th.
They sent her to the lab for blood tests. the results should be in by the 9th. she will probably see a specialist soon after.
Now, she is complaining of her back hurting and it burning when she goes to the bathroom. so I called the dr office back and ask for another test request from the lab to test for an UTI.
As well as having a past of acid reflux, suspected to be gerd now, she has a past of having a kidney reflux. this reflux damaged her kidney. only half of it works.
A UTI could mean trouble. I already have to remind drs that the abnormal reading of protein in her urine is actually normal for her because of the damage. unfortunatly I can't remember what level of protein is in her urine so they will have to call her specialist, I know the subject will come up.
I'm a bit worried because a simple uti for her could mean more testing. at one time they wanted to take her kidney out.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I ramble when I'm nervous. any good thoughts and prayers our way will be appreciated.

Thank you.
I don't remember ever using nexium. is that for UTIs? there was two meds they used often when she got a UTI, till they stopped working on her.

Have you tried "real" local honey? A teaspoon a day? I have heard good things about it. I hate when I hear about kids being on so much medication, have you tried going a more natural route? Can you find a doc who doesn't want to just give her meds all the time??

I am sorry you all are struggling though, I don't mean to sound mean. It just concerns me that so much is going on with your daughter and she is on so many meds. Prayers for her.
