Well. since my new baby has come. everything is unorganized (he is 6 wks old. )I clean and clean and everything keeps getting lost. and my mil blames me because my older son keeps misplacing his shoes before school even tho I've taught him a million times to put them in their place. mornings are hard with an infant. :/

bins bins bins baskets and more bins!  rubber maid containers, fabric baskets, even laundry baskets. Wall hooks for jackets and back packs.

And  yes, get in the habit of locating a replacing items in their appropriate location the night before.

Yes, I will have to do that. My son's father is the same way. He always loses his car keys before work. But.. his mother says nothing about that.
