We live paycheck to paycheck. Hubby is paid weekly and I get child support bi weekly. I can't work at the moment due to health issues. So we can't save. We actually end up 60 or so in the negative most weeks on his account. I had like 3k saved up and it was used. Some people can't save. Now if we chose to be on public assistants we could save but instead I try to make it work without it. So not everyone can save for an Emergancy!

smh. how do you allow your household to misspend that much?

Meanwhile, if the government isn't funded my household will have NO INCOME because my husband is a disabled vet. I cannot work because I have to provide constant care for him, but I'm still looking for a job. I also have health issues.
