Im glad I happened to come across this post. We are starting a ketogenic diet for my daughter. The whole family is doing it to be easier. With the exception of a few meals a week, we eat mostly paleo already. SOmehow this is still confusing for me.

What meals are you making? Lunches, dinner, breakfast, snacks, I would love any ideas!

breakfast, is variations of eggs, bacon or sausage, or avacado.

lunch is rolled up lunch meats, deli cheese, baby bell cheese, cheese sticks, pickles, tuna or grilled chicken salad.

dinners i have planned for this week are

bacon wrapped chicken tenders with asparagus

a warm chicken bacon spinach salad

meatballs with mashed cauliflower/sour cream

hamburger meat fried up with cabbage

cheap steak and brussel sprouts

grilled porkchops with cheesey broccoli

and no tortilla fajitas

and for dessert sugar free jello wth full fat whipped cream on top.

Thanks for the ideas! I have food sensitivities. Its so hard to find new things. I cant have wheat, corn, sugar or artificial sweeteners. The bacon wrapped chicken tenders sound good. Do you notice the longer you eat this way the less hungry you are? I do.

Sounds great! Depending on why youre doing keto, read up on the artificial sweetners in the jello. We avoid them like the plague.

toying with the idea of making our own gelatin. but i have to have something for my sweet tooth. lol trying to eventually rid myself of all artificial sweeteners for sure!

Oh trust me I know I have a sweet tooth too lol. Regular jello would be better than the sugar free kind if you cant cut the jello. I dont like jello but Ive got a cheese fry thing which will not get cut from our paleo lifestyle lol.
