Does giving birth stink?

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

I have never given birth, I adopted my DHs daughter. He said that when the mom delivered it was a putrid rotten smell. I said maybe she shit on the table, he said no- it was totallly different like rotten blood. I've also had some people tell me it hardly smells at all. SO which is it?

Oh hmm. That's how my DH describes it. Like it was almost unbearable.

Dan said ours never smelled. My sister smelled like rotting meat though. I threw up during it as her coach. Her husband had to leave.

I didn't smell. I had a vaginal birth and didn't even smell the blood.

I've never heard of that before. I've had 3 kids and 4 will be here in 2 weeks.

Your focus isn't on the smell it's on the pain of it all if your going natural birthing.

Oh it was. My sister didn't notice it though. I wanted to run but she had my hand.
