for over two years and have not yet gotten it reinstated yet, is there any way I could get in trouble for leaving it suspended for that long ?

No. U only get in trouble if caught driving. You don't *have* to have a DL

Yes.

They will make you do manual labor like picking up trash along the highway and removing graffiti along bridges.

It happened to my DH.

I don't think so. If you drive and get caught though, you might get arrested.

No. You don't have to reinstate your driver's licence if you don't want to. You just can't drive without it.
