formula for toddlers??

Enfagrow created a formula for toddlers...
My first thought was now they are seeing how important breast milk really is even post the age of two.. Breast milk contains DHA and this new formula claims to provide that.
I'm sure this will upset some, oh well. I'm not trying to start a debate.

Yep.
If for some strange reason I "had to" formula feed I think I would do toddler formula too.

I wouldn't give my toddler formula unless medically necessary I guess? Well, my baby never got formula either but I just weaned him at 15 months.

My ped mentioned it as a possibility for my youngest, but she was off formula completely at 7 months...so it never happened...

They've had it for a while. There are children with disabilities that aren't able to have solid food.

I also know someone that couldn't give their son milk or the milk substitutes because of his severe digestion problems. The Dr recommended toddler formula.

That's not a new concept. Toddler formula has been around for years.

Toddler formula is just fillet calories, nothing a child can't get from a normal healthy diet. Its good for kids who need to put on weight, otherwise I'd never use it.

I'm not sure I understand this post.

Is the thought that infant formula does *NOT* contain DHA?  ~ Because it does.

Both Enfamil Premium (WIC provided) and Simmilac Advance contain DHA.

I was forced to FF out of medical circumstance.

I think it's neat.

Whenever life gets tough I just remember this..
