Could your KID survive without an air conditioner ?

No he could not. He has a heart defect and a kidney disease that combined make him very hot and sweaty even when it's a decent temperature. The house always has to be kept at 75F or cooler, else he starts to have issues, breathing. He doesn't get to go outside much in the summer for long periods of time, unless it's for swimming.

i have an 18 yr old, 16 yr old, and 12 yr old and have never had an air conditioner..... so yeah guess so.

Maybe if we had a pool.
Poor kid is just like DH and sweats buckets even though she isn't even 3 yet.
Then again she might not survive even with a pool. Mommy is a bitch when she gets hot and had minimal patience.

No. Ds has a medical condition that requires him to stay cool.

They do at the cottage.  But then again, there's a cold lake to swim in if they overheat.  They would freeze in the winter without heat, though!  It gets cold here sometimes!
