He could live without it but would probably think he couldn't. We live in Ohio.

Well yeah they'd be okay we live In tn. Fl nit besr the beach... nooe I'd die from asthma attacks therefore they'd be on theur own

Yes they survive just fine without.  I don't live in a very warm climate, though and we have lots of fans.  On the 3 or 4 nights a year where the heat is brutal, we all sleep in our master bedroom where we have a window A/C unit.  Honestly, it's rarely a necessity here.

We wouldn't die but we would be very uncomfortable. It gets hot in the summer here but I grew up without A/C

Probably not with our heatwaves in the summer, we can go up to 110 with humidity.

Yes. We just got ACP last year. They can sleep just fine when it's over 100*.

Probably but houses here are built very insulated to keep ac costs down. So, if your ac is out it would be much much hotter inside than an old home.
My daughter does have occasional flares of asthma. So, we would have to be very carful. It gets very hot where I live.
