with your child who has already been admitted and discharged from the children's hospital, had multiple xrays, lab tests, bone scans and surgery who is still having the same problems especially since the doctor who first saw you won't see her?

1 mom liked this

I had to fight and change doctors a few times to get my son the proper care, I'll do it again if I have to.  If you feel yor little one needs to go in, take them in.

ok sorry everyone we had a rough and very long night. My daughter has a partial diagnosis of chronic reocurrent multi focal osteomyelitis. She was admitted to the hospital 8/27/13 and had all the above mentioned done. She was fine for 13 days then started swelling up again and telling me she was in pain. We are being refered to a specialist in another town 4 hours from us. We have exhausted all avenues in our children's hospital here. She started walking funny again, and requiring crutches to walk. I called the ortho every day, every single day. they told me that since she is being refered out that all i can do is take her to the er. Last night she was in tears from the pain. That is after giving her 325 mg tylenol, and 250 mg or naproxen. So I took her to the er. They started another iv and administered morphine. She was still in pain then, but it at least took the edge off. They were going to admit her last night but didn't afterall. I have an appoitment for her today at 1 with the orthopedic and there is a good chance that she may get admitted today. We will see. The last admission was for 5 days....so hopefully we don't get admitted. I have a fund set up for her if you would like to donate to our travel expenses. You can find it here
