She is having a camera stuck up her nose to see if she has anything stuck in there. Poor gal is 2 (almost 3) and can't eat or drink anything until after her procedure is done. It's almost 5 am...and I am already awake. I am so afraid she will wake up early and try to sneak and get a drink or something. So there's my morning. How is yours going?

Edit: Grrr I had our time mapped out very well...or so I thought...only to have hubby drag his butt around. lol. We are on our way there now. My nerves are shot.

Update: She had some sort of sponge like thing stuck waayyy up in her nose. The doctor removed it and though she is very sleepy and out of it...she is going to be fine. She had a reaction to the anesthesia and woke up in a full blown panic attack. She was screaming and kicking and trying to rip her IV out. She wanted to eat and she wanted her big sister. They had to come in and resedate her a bit. It took everything I had in me to not cry and to not freak out. I am just glad it is over with. We are stopping to get her some ice cream and then heading home to cuddle and watch cartoons in bed.

Thanks. No sad faces allowed here btw. :) Our biggest worry is the anesthesia...because she has never been under before. We are excited that the doctors are finally doing something to figure out why her snot/nose/mouth always smell like something dead. If they dont find anything stuck up her nose...they will reschedule a date to remove her tonsils.

For almost a year now she has had this AWFUL smell...like something dead...coming fom her nose/mouth. I have taken her to so many doctors...all who kept giving her allergy meds and cold medicine and the like. FINALLY I convinced her doc to send her to an ENT specialist because obviously something os going on and what they are trying isn't working. Her ENT says it could be her tonsils swelling and leaving indents in her throat. Apparently food gets caught and gives that smell off....but then again...she could have also stuck something up her nose without our knowledge.

She is just having her nose scoped with a camera and possible removal of whatever object is inside...if there is somethin in there. They consider it surgery.
