breast pain????

 So i am breastfeeding and have been for 9 months.... I had an infection a while ago from my son not drinking enough.... but it got better when i was given medicine....

so now on that same breast, its painful in one spot and its a little bit raised when i feel it... My breasts are empty and not filled with milk but when itouch that spot its painful....

 

does anyone know what this is or have experienced it?

It could be a blocked milk duct.

 even if they feel empty? should i put a wet wash cloth on it and hope it goes away?

Is it a clogged duct? Is it red? Watch out for flu like symptoms. Sounds like it could be the start of mastitis. Is that what you had before?

 I think what i had before was a clogged duct, but this time its not red and feels different. what should i do? You dont think its cancer or anything right??? from how it sounds.. i mean i know you cant diagnose me but from what i said do you have an idea?

Yep, even if they feel empty. Hot wash cloth is a good idea. Try to keep feeding from that breast, and get some rest if you can. If that's what it is, it can get pretty painful
