Rude house guest

What would you do if you had a house guest that thought she was able to eat any and all of what you had in your kitchen to eat without regaurd to your finances and when meals were served?

I buy somethings that are just for me and my young child. She thinks she can just (without asking first) help herself to everything. Would you say something or just let it go. It will only be two weeks .

But by then I will be out of  food. Mind you she is obese.

I would speak up. Inform her that you would like her to ask before helping herself. I honestly would probably start hiding as much food as I could. Why is she staying with you and for how long? Did you invited her?

Say something for sure. Maybe if she gets offended badly enough, she'll leave. :D

I would say that you have meals planned because of finances, and that you would appreciate her asking you before eating anything between meals because you are low on cash. Even if you arent out of cash, she doesnt know that.

Let it go. Just don't invite her again.
