Nope, doesn't surprise me.

Nothing really does, when I can look at a 17 year old junior in high school, and know that he doesn't know the order of the months, doesn't know how to read a face clock, doesn't know how to count change, add subtract, mulitply, divide, or any other thing that should have been learned in Elementary.

I don't use spellcheck half the time, I ignore it the other half because it corrects my canadian spelling all the time.
