dinner confession

I have cooked every meal from home the last 2 weeks. We are trying to save money, and it is better for us. I am soooooo burned out though! I think the tough part is that we have a grocery budget (in order to save) and I feel limited, though I know I just have to be creative.
We used to eat lunch out a lot. Plus, 2-3 times a week grabbing dinner from somewhere.
I am sooo wanting to order out somewhere tonight!! But....I will feel bad if I do...
I sound terribly spoiled, don't I?! I swear I'm not!

Please tell me it gets easier.....

And that's why we're having canned soup tonight!

 Care to share recipes?
Sir and I are starting to budget more and need to find some homecooked meal ideas but not to pricey.

That's ok, I fed my family hot dogs the last two nights in a row. Brat dogs, but dogs none the less. We only eat out once a month maybe, you'll get creative!

I understand, I cook everyday, too. When I'm in a cooking funk I plan meals that will last two or three days, so I cook one day and then just reheat the next day or two. It gives me a break. I also plan out my meals for two weeks at a time, go shopping and buy what I need for those meals. I write all of the meals down on a cholkboard in the kitchen and then when I need to cook something I just go down through the list of meals I've planned for and cook something that sounds good. I don't have to constantly be thinking of stuff to cook, and I don't cook every day.

I'm in your shoes. I've been trying to play housewife bc we literally spend hundreds on going out for all 3 meals. I'm only on day 3? And ready to give up! The struggle! Lol

It doesn't. At least it hasn't for me. But I hate cooking, If you get any enjoyment out of it, it's probably just a matter of getting into the habit of cooking all the time.
