Talk about the Walking Dead....

A man walked out of an Ohio court, legally dead.

He was declared legally dead eight years after disappearing and leaving $26,000 in overdue child payments. His ex-wife sought to have him declared legally dead so that her children could collect the SS death benefit.

He was informed of his "death" back in 2005 but did nothing about it at that point. Apparently, there is a three yearl limit on reversing a legal death... so the judge ruled that, even though he is alive and well, he will remain legally dead. He is unable to get a driver's licence or reinstate his social security number.

So, there you have it.... Zombies alive and well in Ohio.

However, if he were declared alive, his ex-wife might be on the hook for repaying the death benefits his children collected.

That's twisted as well....
