i should prepare myself to make a second dinner...updated with recipe
I am making two new dishes for dinner and I know the kids are most-likely going to fight me on it.
Cherry glazed chicken and avocado potato salad.
I really want to try different things and I am so tried of making the same non- exciting crap for dinner. new dishes don't go over big for the kids. Plus dh is not home for dinner and it will be just me eating it. :(

That blew up fast! i was making the dinner.
So all the kids ate it!!! I cant believe it and even one of them asked for seconds on the potato salad. he is not much of a meat eater, i still consider it a success.
So i dont get in trouble for passing out recipes the potato salad is

3 pounds of red potatoes
2 tablespoons of salt (used 2 teaspoons)
1 ripe avocado. peeled
2 teaspoons of grated lime zest
juice of 2 limes
2 garlic cloves crushed
1/2 cup cilantro ( I didn't use this and put 2 green onion instead)
2 tablespoons of light mayonnaise
2 celery stalks. sliced
Cook potatoes till tender in water with have the salt. drain and let cool
combine all other ingredients except celery in food processor.
mix it all together when done.
Now i gotta go back and read all the replies;)
