Nursing a toddler is disgusting

I read a statistic today that said that only 29% of Americans nurse their babies past infancy. It's no wonder there's such a bad stigma against nursing a toddler.

It's not disgusting, or perverse. It's not weird. It's normal. And hilarious. And the perfect way for me to nourish my baby.

Please do not turn this into a breastfeeders are better than formula feeders post, because that's not what this is.

Lol, I was about to say that you'd probably be REALLY disgusted by my nursing 3.5 year old.

Not nursing past infancy doesnt mean that person will think nursing a toddler is disgusting. Hell a lot time ago in the asian countries they would nurse on into the preteen years. I dont find that disgusting either.

If you didn't want a debate, you only needed to state the fact, not your opinion

My son weaned at 16 months. I wish we could have gone longer but he was starving and we didn't know it.

I didn't say you couldn't debate, I just wanted to make it clear that I don't feel like I'm better than anyone else
