Thanksgiving..What do you cook/eat??

Ahhhhh Thanksgiving dinner is in 4 days and I'm SO excited. I'm trying to get into Thanksgiving mode so I'm good and motivated for the prep work I need to start on Friday. lol

So what does your family eat on turkey day?? Do you cook or do you go somewhere else for dinner?? What's on the menu this year?

I'll be doing appetizers of course, although I haven't decided which ones yet.. Probably cranberry cream cheese pinwheels for sure..Deviled eggs maybe.

For dinner:

Brined & herb roasted turkey
Cornbread walnut stuffing
My Mum's classic bread stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Roasted root veggies
Fried brussel sprouts with bacon & almonds
Sweet potato pie
Cranberry ginger jelly
Gravy
Homemade butter rolls

Sparkling apple cider

Pumpkin Pie
Apple pie
Butter tarts
Pumpkin cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese icing (or a small decorated cake..Idk yet. We'll see how motivated I actually get..lol!)

LOL me too!! My Aunt does a dinner too, but I don't care. I do my own no matter what!

We have similar menus! You just reminded me I need to add a salad. Ugh.

Turnip & apple casserole sounds SO yummy

I don't cook, except maybe a side dish and/or dessert. We typically eat fried turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole (if I make it), deviled eggs, potatoes/gravy and a variety of desserts. My MIL loves to do turkey day dinner!

im the one who introduced dd's family to fried turkey. His dad made it just for me- bought the fryer and everything. They love me forever, now!
