Adding a 2nd baby- do you miss your first badly??

My son will be 6 when baby comes. I'm happy but him and I got to go and do all sorts of fun things together. It was him and mommy time. I feel soo guilty that we won't be the same and that close anymore now that a new baby will need all of my attention. I'm sad kind of.

It's not as hard as you think. You can still be close and do things. Yes, the baby's going to need extra attention, but I always had my older kids help me do things with the baby. They would go get things for me or sing to the baby, hold the bottle, sit next to me and hold baby together...and you can get some one on one time when the baby is sleeping, even if it's just cuddling up to watch a movie.

It might take a little bit to get into a grove with it, but it'll be fine :)
