Feeling conflicted

So I posted the other day that my fiance is more than ok with me being a stay home mom again. None of my kids are his and he has none of his own. I want to stay home really bad and he makes enough we wont struggle at all. It makes me incredibly happy to stay home and take care of my family and home.

So, here is where I am conflicted....

My 7 year old DD wants to build a chopper, my 9 year old DS wants to get a project truck from a junk yard and my 11 year old DD wants to restore an 80's Chevy Love. Even though we are not hurting for money I don't want to spend money on that stuff. Yes my man says I can but he works his ass off for it.

I think I may just get a part time job to fund these projects. Thoughts???

Those are some very ambitious projects for kids of that age, lol! I personally would probably get the part time job, but that's just me.

What sense does that make, they cant even drive yet. I would wait until they could chip in, those projects can get spendy. Or pick one they can all work on.

Do whatever makes you feel the best.   I mean they are all school aged so you could easily just work a few hours while they are in school if you wanted.

I would have them do odd jobs and raise money for their own projects.

These projects are going to take years and it is something they want to do. I want the projects done in time to drive/ride them.

What's they point of being a SAHM if all your kids are in school?

Really??

Making sure the house is always clean, laundry is always done, making sure they have snack when they get home from school, help with homework, make sure my family has a healthy home made dinner every night....
