Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

Well it's easy to love the little priss pot who wants to be a princess and puts on a constant show to get the spotlight.

....but her sister who is just as gorgeous and loves ninjas and superheroes and has a dry sense of humor...it's easy to miss her because her sister enjoys the spotlight so much. But you're losing out if you miss her humor and her wit. I hate when people gravitate toward my outgoing, prissy daughter and lose out on the joys of my quieter daughter who has just as much personality.

Vent complete. I feel better now.

What's really going on?

I was overlooked because of my loud, rambunctious brothers.

I get that with my boys a lot. I have 2 that are quieter and 2 that are outgoing and comical. It irks me to no end when people overlook my other two sons because they are quiet. Must dd naturally gets gushed over because shes the only girl.

I completely understand. My dd's are that way. Its sad, my youngest has so much to offer, but is often overshadowed by louder, older sis. :( I have a bad habit of spoiling the crap out of my lil one cause of it.

I understand where you are coming from. People often ignore the joy of my oldest and youngest girls in favor of my extroverted middle daughter. All three are beautiful and smart, but the squeaky wheel always seems to get the attention.

That's very sad, I have seen that happen but I have also seen parent's enable the outgoing one and all but ignore the quite one.

No I did not. It's embraced in our house.
