Did you stay in the room during the procedure? Why or why not? Did you regret your decision? Just curious.

edit: I meant do you regret your decision to stay in the room or not.

Yes. They removed my staples then did it. The nurse was doing the staples while the Dr was getting the boys ready.

No. I wanted to, but they told me the room was too small.

Now that I just finished my OB rotation I nursing school, I know they were right. The procedure "room" is a small alcove in the nursery, barely big enough for the doctor and the nurse!

I am glad I didn't see it, in my hormonal state. I was happy with the results, and seeing it done to other baby boys is much easier for me.

I am happy with my decision. :)

Nope. He was in the nursery that night and they circumcised him in the morning before they brought him back to my room. The nurses informed me that he didn't cry at all and he was perfectly content when they brought him to my room afterwards.

Nope. The nurse came to get them and took them to the doc, then they brought them back. I couldn't go with as it was, I had a rough delivery with my oldest and c-sections with the other two.
