Were your babies allergic to any disposable diapers?

Raymond is sometimes in cloth and sometimes in disposables.

We recently learned that he is very allergic to Luvs. The rash was bad and took a couple of weeks to go away. He can use the store brands just fine though.

My DD was. She was allergic to the chlorine in them.

We used biodegradable hypoallergenic diapers.

Dd got a rash from Pampers. Not horrible, but enough to keep me from buying them.

Yes. There is something in all disposables that my second dd was allergic to. She had bleeding rashes and leathery skin. We tried all sorts of creams and switched diapers and wipes and her doc told us to switch to cloth. I'm glad we did. Her rashes cleared up pretty fast after that.

Not that I've noticed.

I haven't had issue with any brands.

Have you ever tried Pampers, does he have issue with them too? Luv and Pampers have the same parent company and I'm wondering if Luv's has that same "dry max" that caused so many issues in Pampers.

I was allergic to disposables when I was a baby, but that was of course about 30 years ago when they were totally different.
