Nah just cap it at the family size the day you first apply.  So if you apply and have one child that is the limit of the size of your family. If you pop pit 3 more kids-sorry your family size is still set at the size it was when you first applied-unless you go off for at least 2 years.....

cash assistance does have a 5 year limit. I do agree with food stamps having a 5 year limit unless you are disabled. but not medicaid or wic beause  wic has an age limit.

I think it should give enough time to finish a trade school skill. About two years.

6 months isn't long enough it took us 2 years to get back on our feet. my children would have starved if it wasn't for food stamps for those 2 years.

5 yrs is too long.  Totally agree with the cap on family size.
