How did you mothers of children with colic make it? This is week 2 and I'm just about ready to just say f*** it..... nothing I do works and I'm so tired. I just don't know what to do besides cry while the baby sits and screams.... help please?

** you ladies have given great tips. Sorry to bolt, but I've found something that works (tonight) so I'm going to try to get a few mins of sleep. Thank you all!

Are you sure it's colic and not something like reflux?

1 mom liked this
been there and thats exactly what i did. also, im sure someone will have something mean to say about this, but its not gonna harm the baby to put them in their crib for 10 min while you take a time out.

somethings that helped my son, driving in the car....also putting him in his car seat and turning the washer on spin cycle. good luck

Read Happiest Baby on the Block by Harvey Karp. He addresses colic extensively.

My son had colic and the only thing that helped till we figured out his formula was our bouncer and swing that were ocean themed so they played ocean music!

Thank you. She sleeps in the car, but as soon as I hit a red light, she's back up crying again. I may try the washing machine. I'll try anything at this point.
