my six yr old has a fever of 101.8. should risk being dropped from school

To stay home with him. Ive already missed a few of school. He is laying in bed begging me to stay home. Im in a medical assisting program finish in December. I dunno my friend said she would help me. We went to the doctors yesterday they it was a virus. And it triggered his asthma I get him fifty percent. This sucks. ly

Is there no one else who can watch him?  If not, then yes.

Call your teacher.  Explain your situation, and they should understand.

How much have you missed? It seems to me like you'd have to have missed a lot for them to drop you due to missing for a sick child, especially since he's seen a physician. They can give you a note for that.

Honestly if it means you would be dropped then I would go to school..if its only a virus as much as it sucks

That's true. I can bring his school note and his doctor visit papers. Good idea

Personally, I would go to school. Obviously it is really important that you finish this program. He will be fine, 101.8 isn't that high. He will probably sleep most of the day anyway.
